Services

What is the difference between engaging an ID and a direct contractor?

In general, we do not suggest design concepts. We can draw out blueprints and drawings for you, but you’ll need to show us some reference pictures and tell us about your plans for your area. Customers who engage directly with direct contractors such as ourselves will be responsible for the bulk of design selections. In addition, the difference between hiring a direct contractor and an ID is that ID firms usually markups their price ranges from 10% more to double of a contractor quotation.

What service does PCO provide?

We provide a full range of construction and building services as listed here. The list of services provided may not be comprehensive. Please contact us to inquire more about the services we offer.

Do you offer a free, no-obligation quotation?

Yes, of course. We would gladly visit your home at a time that is suitable for you and provide an estimate for the needed work. If you do not own the property and would want us to provide an estimate for work on a property you are considering acquiring, this will be charged at a fixed rate.

What is my project timeline? How long should I expect my project to take?

The timeline for completion of your design-build project will vary depending on the scale and complexity of the design and building construction needs.

How long do I have to wait before my order gets processed?

Your order will be processed in 1-5 working days.

You may register an account with us and place your order online via our website at www.pco.com.sg.

Click on your desired item, choose your preferred size, colour, material etc and select the  “Add to Cart” button. Once you’re done shopping, proceed to check out and follow the step-by-step instructions given.

Two types of payment options are available: Cash on Delivery & Credit Card

Delivery

Do you help to dispose of old furniture from my home?
Yes, we will be able to assist with your old furniture removals for a service fee.

In addition, most Town Councils provide free disposal of the first three (3) moveable bulky items per month, with the exception of certain types of items. A fee will be chargeable by the Town Council for the removal of additional items.

How much is the delivery fee?

Orders must be at least worth S$150 to be eligible for free delivery.

To qualify for free delivery, your delivery location must be accessible by elevator/lift. (i.e. on the same storey as the lift landing) or on the same floor as the goods loading/unloading area.

Standard Delivery Fees

 If your order does not qualify for Free Delivery, standard delivery fees will apply.

 

The Delivery Charges are as follows below:

After Hours Delivery Fees

For standard deliveries, any delivery time slots requested to be scheduled after 7 pm will be subject to a S$30.00 delivery surcharge. Surcharges paid are not refundable.

Staircase Delivery Fees (Furniture)

If the delivery crew is unable to send furniture to your location via the elevator at the point of delivery (eg. Furniture is unable to fit into the elevator, elevator breakdown upon delivery crew’s arrival, refusal of elevator access by building management etc) PCO Engineering will assess (at our discretion) the feasibility of the furniture being carried up via the staircase in a non-hazardous manner.


Should delivery via staircase be deemed safe, additional charges per non-wardrobe/wardrobe item will be as follows:

Delivery Surcharge for Selected Locations

There will be a S$30.00 surcharge for delivery to Sentosa/Jurong Island/Military Camps.

I need the items urgently

Time taken for delivery will depend largely on the lead time of the item purchased. Customised products will usually require a longer lead time.

Do you provide international shipping?

We’re sorry, we do not provide international shipping at the current moment. 

Should you choose to utilise your freight forwarder to ship the items to you, do make arrangements with your provider first before placing your order with us. Your freight forwarding provider can then collect your order from our warehouse when your order is ready for collection.

Warranty for all products sold at PCO Engineering is only valid within Singapore. PCO Engineering Pte Ltd shall not be held responsible for damages on products shipped out of Singapore.

Vouchers & Coupons

I received a coupon code. How do I apply the coupon code?

Go to the shopping cart page when you have selected the item(s) you would like to purchase.

Under the Discount Code field (located), please enter the coupon code you have received from PCO.

Click on “Apply Coupon” to enjoy the discount!

I am unable to use my coupon code on certain items. What's wrong?

Kindly please check the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant promotion that you’ve received as it may not apply to the item(s) you’re purchasing.

Some problems that may have occurred are:

  • Not enough minimum spend on qualifying items in cart.
  • The discount was requested for items that are not qualified for discount (e.g. discount code for wardrobes was used when only a murphy bed is in the cart)
  • The button “Apply Coupon” was not clicked.
  • The discount code has expired.
  • The discount promotion has ended.

Fix a Product Issue

I've received the wrong product. What should I do?

We apologize for sending you the incorrect item. Please notify our delivery crew if you receive the incorrect item (s).

Please contact us at desmond@pco.com.sg, phone our customer service hotline at +65 9668 2992. Our Customer Service Representatives will inform you of your next delivery time/date in order to replace the incorrect item (s).

Do I have to register for my purchased product's warranty?

Warranties on furniture products sold by PCO do not require registration. Your delivery invoice serves as proof of purchase for these items.

Do all products come with a warranty?

All customisable furniture from PCO comes with X-year warranty on manufacturing defects (not including wear and tear or abuse). If you find any manufacturing defects or damages which are not due to abuse or wear and tear, please kindly contact our support team at +65 9668 2992  or email us at desmond@pco.com.sg on replacing/repairing the merchandise.

Return, Refund and Exchange Requests

I've accepted a product that I do not require any more / am not satisfied with. What can I do?

We’re sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your purchase from PCO Engineering.

All products qualify for a return except for the following:

  • Customised products
  • Clearance/1 SET OFFER/products
  • Products that require on-site assembly
  • Modular Wardrobes
  • Bedroom sets
  • Products that have been removed from their original packaging, used, stained, torn, washed, discoloured, dented, damaged and/or with traces of fragrance or odours

What is your Exchange Policy?

We do not accept any form of exchange. Any requests for exchanges after delivery would be regarded as returns. The products that you wish to exchange can be returned and the price of the product will be refunded to you. Thereafter, you can place a separate order for the product you wish to exchange.

What is your Return and Refund Policy?

You may wish to return the products if you are dissatisfied with your purchase.

Request for returns should be made to us within twenty-four (24) days from the delivery date for a full refund. The full refund amount will exclude any delivery, assembly, delivery timing, delivery location and/or staircase delivery fees paid when the original order was made.

All products qualify for a return except for the following:

  • Customised products
  • Clearance/1 SET OFFER/products
  • Products that require on-site assembly
  • Modular Wardrobes
  • Bedroom sets
  • Products that have been removed from their original packaging, used, stained, torn, washed, discoloured, dented, damaged and/or with traces of fragrance or odours

Products should be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition and with their original packaging fully intact. PCO Engineering has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return.

How will I be refunded?

All refunds for orders paid for via cash on delivery will be made via bank transfer.

Customers who have paid via credit card or Instalment Payment Plan methods will be refunded via the original mode of payment. Refunds for payments made via cash on delivery or credit card will be made within seven (7) working days.

Fix a Delivery Issue

My order is not here yet. What should I do?

What happens if the furniture cannot fit into the lift on the day of delivery?

If such an occurrence occurs, we will determine if the furniture can be carried up the stairs in a non-hazardous manner. If the process is deemed hazardous, e.g prone to damage on a narrow stairway or obstructing passage, PCO reserves the right not to proceed with the delivery and refund you with any payments that you have already made.

Should delivery via staircase be deemed safe, additional charges per item will apply. Staircase delivery fees are charges: 

Additional S$10.00 per non-wardrobe item transported to a non-lift-accessible storey 

Additional S$20.00 per wardrobe transported to a non-lift-accessible storey

PCO also reserves the right to rearrange an alternative delivery date should the pre-determined timing not allow for immediate delivery, as there may be other pending deliveries scheduled for that day.

What if I'm not at home when the products arrive?

It is best to notify us early if you cannot be at home to receive the product within the arranged date and time. As such, when the products arrive, you will be contacted by our Customer Service Officer for a re-delivery. 

Similarly, should you miss your delivery, you can either contact us by providing your order number at desmond@pco.com.sg or call us at +65 9668 2992  during our office hours to arrange another delivery date and time. 

Do note that in the case of re-delivery, you will be subjected to a re-delivery fee of $30.

Amend an order

How do I change my delivery address/delivery date/delivery timing, after I place my order?

Please tell us at least 48 hours before the delivery date if you need to change your delivery information. Do keep in mind that once an order has sent off, the delivery information orders that have been delivered cannot be modified.

I have placed more than one order. Can I combine my orders?

Yes, you can. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the delivery date.

Do keep in mind that your combined orders must be delivered on the same day and at the same time.
